are one of the UK's leading beauty awards.

Founded in 2012 by renowned journalist and eco-living advocate Fiona Klonarides, these awards focus on eco-friendly and sustainable practices and operate independently. The entries featured in the "Shortlist" are 100% independent, completely free of advertising and sponsorships, ensuring total fairness and impartiality. Judged by industry experts from the UK, the US, and Australia, the awards are celebrated for their transparency and commitment to ethics, garnering close attention from consumers and industry professionals alike (including beauty buyers, industry journalists, reporters, PRs, retailers, and international distributors). They provide a level playing field for both global and niche brands. With entries from 39 regions and over 100 international brands, achieving excellence in these awards is a tremendous honor and one of the most competitive and credible achievements in the industry.

About the Global Green Beauty Awards

The Global Green Beauty Awards differ slightly from the Global Makeup Awards, with a primary focus on Green Clean Beauty products.

The awards recognize beauty brands/products that are ethical, natural, organic, vegan, zero-waste, or cruelty-free (and not single-use).

In 2022, there were over 400 entries from the UK, the US, Asia, and other regions. The entries were judged by a panel of industry experts in makeup and beauty. Winners were selected by a panel of six beauty experts based on two factors: the product itself and its performance, followed by whether it meets Green / Clean beauty standards. Only products that the judges could see and feel the results of were selected as winners.
