    Many people mistakenly believe that aromatherapy is just a "pleasant scent," but in fact, aromatherapy is a therapy that uses aromatic essential oils extracted from natural plants to improve physical and mental well-being. 

    Aromatherapy has been used for centuries. It is an auxiliary therapy with a history spanning hundreds of years, supported by rigorous scientific evidence and clinical research. Ever since French chemist René-Maurice Gattefossé discovered the powerful potential of lavender in repairing burnt skin in 1937, the pharmacological and psychosomatic restorative mechanisms of essential oils have been widely studied in the fields of medicine and chemistry. As registered aromatherapists, we know well that natural essential oils not only soothe the mind but also contain a wealth of natural chemical molecules (such as esters, sesquiterpenes, alcohols, etc.) that can promote skin repair and balance at the cellular level.

Combined with highly skin-compatible botanical oils, they penetrate deeply into the skin to rebuild a healthy barrier.

    Soy-Based Ink Printing

    Printed by a facility certified by the American Soybean Association using soy-based inks. Soy-based ink effectively reduces air pollution caused by heavy metal elements and volatile organic compounds (VOCs) during the printing process. It leaves no chemical residues and offers high safety. Soybeans are a sustainable crop. Printed materials using soy-based inks are also easier to recycle, allowing waste paper to biodegrade more effectively.

    Recycled Protective Fillers

    The clean protective fillers used inside shipments are, whenever possible, repurposed packaging materials. We encourage you to reuse them as well.

  • PETA-Certified Cruelty-Free Brand

    Nude Story is a PETA-certified cruelty-free brand. We respect animals and the natural environment. We use sustainably sourced agricultural ingredients, including essential oils. Our products contain no animal-derived ingredients (with the exception of beeswax), and we do not use raw materials tested on animals.

  • Microbead-free

    Nude Story has participated in the voluntary scheme launched by the Environmental Protection Department of Hong Kong in 2021 to phase out personal care and cosmetic products containing microbeads, becoming a brand with a product range entirely free of microbeads.

Many skincare products on the market use synthetic fragrances, which only remain on the skin's surface, offer no skincare benefits, and may even trigger allergies. In contrast, Nude Story uses 100% natural essential oils with molecular structures so fine that they possess excellent permeability. They can penetrate the epidermis to reach the dermis, where they are absorbed by capillaries and participate in blood circulation. This means that essential oils can genuinely aid in cell renewal, provide antibacterial and anti-inflammatory effects, and exert deep-reaching, inside-out repair. Furthermore, the molecular structure of natural plant oils is very similar to the sebum secreted by human skin, allowing for rapid absorption to replenish intercellular lipids and rebuild a healthy skin barrier.
