This cleansing balm is their signature product. I saw reviewers saying their skin improved and their blackheads and whiteheads decreased after using it, so my expectations were quite high. It turned out that it didn't have any noticeable skin-improving effects on me😂 But in terms of cleansing, it's actually quite good!
Regarding its cleansing power, it basically removes brows, foundation, and concealer very cleanly. However, I still use a separate eye and lip makeup remover for eyeliner and mascara; I tried using only this, and it didn't remove them well (not sure if I was using the wrong technique😢).
The pros are that it cleans well, has an oil-balm texture, isn't drying or greasy, and doesn't cause me to break out in milia. Plus! It has a very comfortable essential oil scent. It's super relaxing to massage my face with dry hands on a dry face while removing makeup XD Nude Story started out with aromatherapy, so there’s no doubt their scents are amazing😎
However, the price is a bit higher than the cleansing water I usually use, and I’m going through it a bit quickly. I haven’t been wearing much makeup lately, but I’ve already used up more than half the jar lol. Just like their serum, I think it’s pretty good, but I’ll have to wait until I have more money before considering a repurchase TvT (btw, since it has no preservatives, remember to use it up within 6 months😋)
