Compared to regular Vitamin A, this plant-based bakuchiol is gentler and equally effective at slowing down skin aging. It has a watery texture and leaves a slightly tacky feeling on the skin. It’s less moisturizing, so it needs to be paired with a hydrating serum. When I first started using it, I noticed my skin felt rough, but the shop owner explained that this was due to the accelerated turnover of old keratin layers. I don't have this issue anymore now that I've continued using it. Also, it’s formulated with a frankincense hydrosol base; I personally love the scent of frankincense—I find it incredibly pleasant.
