【What is a pure plant-based carrier oil?】

(Also known as base oil) plays a most excellent and indispensable role, serving as a buffer to dilute essential oils and provide lubrication. At the same time, carrier oils can improve the skin's absorption of essential oils; with their high skin affinity, they effectively transport the small molecules of essential oils into the skin and bloodstream. The English term for carrier oil is "Carrier Oil," where "Carrier" signifies one who carries, meaning it transports the components of essential oils into the human body.

 

Derived from plant sources, a high-quality aromatherapy carrier oil is extracted from pure plant fruits, seeds, or petals, with its main component being triglycerides composed of various fatty acids depending on the source. It is obtained through cold-pressing at low temperatures below 40-60°C and has not undergone degumming, refining, bleaching, deodorization, or hydrogenation, making its nutritional content completely different from that of ordinary cooking oils. Beyond the inherent benefits of the plant oil itself, it penetrates into the deeper layers of the skin to provide nourishment and skincare benefits. Damask Rose Infused Oil Olea europaea with rosa damascena Infused oil is one of the extraction methods for essential oils. Fresh or dried aromatic plants are steeped in a carrier oil for several weeks or longer, allowing the essential oils and other fat-soluble substances, such as fat-soluble vitamins and other highly active chemical components, to be released. We use whole, food-grade Damask roses infused in organic extra virgin olive oil for over 3 months to extract high-concentration rose essence. Rich in vitamins A, C, and E, it helps eliminate free radicals and brightens dull, sallow skin. Olive oil contains abundant antioxidants that protect and moisturize the skin.

Calendula Infused Oil (Calendula officinalis) Infused oil is a method of essential oil extraction in which fresh or dried aromatic plants are soaked in a corresponding carrier oil. Over a period of several weeks or longer, the essential oils and other fat-soluble substances, such as fat-soluble vitamins and other highly active chemical components, are released. This product uses ECOCERT-certified organic calendula at a high infusion ratio of 2/3. It is rich in carotene and linoleic acid, and is primarily used for pain relief, sterilization, and anti-inflammation in the treatment of skin conditions. It is effective in soothing inflammation, reducing swelling, providing antibacterial and antifungal properties, as well as promoting astringency and wound healing.
